Platinum Scraps Challenge Blog

I am a designer for Platinum Scraps! A group of us ladies who met on the Cricut message board got together to form a challenge blog. We will showcase our work through weekly challenges. This is our first challenge for February. Please stop by Platinum Scraps to view all of the designer's excellent layouts. Here is my interpretation of the sketch.

All Dressed Up

This layout was in my mind for weeks now. Ever since I got the Forever Young cart I have had this image in my head. I LOVE THIS CART! While Provo has alot of cute, girly cartridges, this is a sophisticated grown woman cart. ((smile))

I also used EDPD, Paisley and Home Decor.

Love.....

Love..... nuff said! :)

My first Iris folding card! I really, really love this technique but I need more practice.

Here is a LO I did in honor of the late, great MLK!

Happy Birthday Brittany

These are two cards for my neice birthday. She loves Hello Kitty.

This cut is from Forever Young. I think this is my new favorite cart.

Since Brittany is the queen of text messages, I made the inside with all text abbreviations. Can you decode it? lol :)

For Brittany...

My niece has been asking me for months to make her something for her laptop. She got a DSi for Christmas so she started asking again. Since her birthday is coming up I decided to surprise her with both. She loves Betty Boop and Hello Kitty so I did both out of vinyl along with her name. The Betty Boop is a SCAL file that I got from Mardenez. I also used SCAL for her name. Both of these are for her laptop. Hello Kitty is from the cricut cartridge and that one is for her DSi.

Cards

Here are a few cards I created for a very nice lady at church. She loves my cards and always asks me to make some for her. The first one I made as a thank you for her business.

This is my first attempt at a bookatrix card. I have fallen love with this type of card and I hope to get better with designing them.
